The wonderful staff at my local Xpedx paper store has been so kind to not only have some of the best customer service in the city but they also supplied us with the goods to make a project to give the Salvation Army PROMISE house residents.
In Chicago, the Xpedx store at 3555 North Kimball has a wide selection of papers including envelopes, chipboard and even small gift boxes that would be great for crafting projects. You may have one of these great stores near you as well and you can search for them online. They also have an online store if you are not lucky like me to have one within 10 minutes of my house.
At the Chicago Craft Social, you can create a small journal as an extra project that will be donated to the children who enter the PROMISE house. Be sure to stop by this table and create one that will certainly be appreciated by it's recipient.
